Fredrik Gabriel, MBA – Executive Leadership

A few Years ago, I woke up in the middle of the night with a question that wouldn’t leave me: What would happen to my newborn son if I were gone? Who would teach him how to be a man? How could I pass on my thoughts, feelings, memories, advice, and the essence of who I am after I’m no longer here?

That question became the seed of a long journey—years of iterations and pivots—that ultimately led to HereafterLegacy.ai (HaL).

The vision for personalized Alzheimer’s and Autism chatbots also grew from deeply personal experiences. A close friend has a beautiful son with Autism who would ask the same question over and over. I watched my friend, exhausted, eventually walk away. I kept thinking: What if we could preserve a parent’s voice—its tone, empathy, and reassuring presence—so a child could still hear the answers they need, even when the parent is depleted?

The Alzheimer’s chapter was even closer to home. I watched my father navigate the final stages of the disease and couldn’t stop thinking: What if he had a chatbot with my voice and image/avatar that could reach out to him proactively? It might have slowed the decline and given him a better quality of life in those last years.

These moments are why HaL exists.

IT & Leadership Experience

While I bring several years of hands-on AI experience, my foundation is thirty years of IT consulting. I have delivered highly complex IT projects with infrastructure and cybersecurity strategies, budgets, and architectures, and led technology teams at Fortune 500 companies. My work centers on complex cloud solutions (AWS and Azure) that align tightly with business goals.

I am a purposeful technology leader and engineering principal with deep experience designing and managing multi-million-dollar, ISO-, NIST-, and COBIT-compliant solutions—both on-premises and in the cloud (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS). I focus on Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and Recovery Point/Recovery Time Objectives (RPO/RTO).

I lead with high emotional intelligence as an authentic servant leader, drawing on a decade of entrepreneurial executive experience. I design technology that serves the business, grounded in ITIL principles, and I balance Agile/Scrum and Waterfall approaches while managing real-world budget and resource constraints. Mentoring future leaders, building strong teams, and partnering with executives to set clear direction and deliver exceptional results are core to how I work.
